Where to start? The is no beginning and seems to have no end in sight. The iThink application is great, works very well on FB. On hi5 however it has a few problems which can surely be dealt with and would make the application more enjoyable.
1- Loading tWhat is times. What is the deal there? It takes ages to load it up, assuming it loads at all
2- Freezing. Yes it happens all the time. You try to, lets say, go from "my activities" to "people" and it freezes on a white screen. It also freezes when you try to reply to comments or write a note on walls. In this instance, you dont get the white screen but it stays stuck on loading the message up.
3-changing picture is also a long winded process. The only way it can be achieved is by uninstalling the application, changing the avatar on the profile page and then install app again. zzzz
4- Topic of the day is more like topic of the month. Same goes for the featured iThinker.

Now, not being funny but this list could go on and on. I dont want to be the moaning bitch of iThink but there seems to be no new people signing up but I do think if your guys could concentrated in ironing out these little problems asap it would prove to be valuable. I mean, if i was new to iThink and as I installed the app it froze on me, bugger if I bother again.

As I understand its all about figures and people joining which shall bring me to my final point; the contest. Yesterday I was informed in a very matter of fact that the contest end day is now next week (16th). This was announced on the day we were meant to be getting the name of the winners. Talk about leaving it to the last minute to dump on us. It isnt fair to say that because you didnt get the numbers you wanted you were forced to take this course of action. It isnt the fault of those who have been taking part and spent hours daily doing the work that a proper QA department should be doing. Now, my question is this, if by the 16th you dont see the numbers you want it will be postponed yet again? Is this a big white elephant?

Thank you for the feedback and support you shown iThink especially here on hi5. I will be happy to address your questions.

1) There is no issue with iThink loading from our side as we can see that the application loading properly on other platforms. So we are dependent on the stability of the hi5 platform. But we have seen a lot of improvements by hi5 in the last few weeks.

2) Same response as #1, any loading type issues are due to our dependence on the hi5 platform.

3) Currently we capturing your image when you install iThink and not refreshing. This issue will be fixed soon so you will be able to update your hi5 profile picture and it will be updated within iThink as well.

4) We will work on updating the thought for the day, topic of the day and featured on more regular basis.

thanks for the reply. I do understand the problems u must be facing trying to get ithink to work properly if/when u r not getting support from hi5.

Anyway, just thought i`d let you know that I`m having problems with loading again today. I have tried for hours now and it just aint playing ball. Sadly today is the last day of the contest and i was counting on being able to do a few hours work on ithink and as it stands it doesnt look like it will be possible rendering all my hard work of the past few weeks futile and i do feel very disheartened about it. Pls, if you see this send me a reply or info me asap when the white screen syndrome thingy is resolved.

it sorted itself out at about 6pm-ish. it became clear to me that it wasnt an ithink issue because all the other pages/applications on hi5 were doing the same. right now its loading faster than fb! haha. btw, 7.40am and working already? you guys must be as tired as hell! ithink (pun intended) its time for a london team ;)
is ithink here due any updates soon? anything you can tell me? I`m asking because as I`ve been on it like 14hrs daily I would be more than happy to pass on suggestions and pet peeves I and other users have.
as for today, there were a couple of times the appl didnt allow me to post a note. it looks as its posting but it never did. I tried the same route a few times and as i was able to repeat the fault, it is clear its a bug. the last time i tried i left it "posting" and went on ithink fb for about an hour and as i got back to hi5 tab it was still going. also a few times i got 1 note/comment posted several times and had it happen on my wall as another user left me a note. shouldnt have but i deleted it, doh!
I`m going to concentrate on ithink myspace for the next few days. not sure if we`re following each other or if we`re still on each others friend list but I`ll contact u there. laters

We are all working very hard here at iThink. Last night, I was up till about 1AM working and then got up at 6:30AM to start work again. It's fine because I enjoy what I do and am excited every single day to be working on such a great product.

There is not anything I can say about future plans but I would love for you to share your hi5 pet peeves with me, just message me directly on hi5.

forget hi5? nah! they cant get rid of me that easy! lol. I`m running all 3 networks at once. driving me bonkers but what is life without a bit of madness?
I was up til 5am on myspace and its not 1pm and I`ve already replied to all comments received in all 3 networks, done the survey Boxy sent me, forwarded it to all my ithink homies etc. I too enjoy it, just a fine shame I`m not there to work with u guys cos i`d give my all!

Speaking of annoying things... plus signs in comments get eaten up and replaced with whitespace. Puts a damper on the formulaic x+y=FUNNY convention. I can understand more unconventional characters being excluded (even if I tend to use :þ to avoid emoticons elsewhere), but the plus sign?
